Case, Robert P.. A Survey of Mills in Delaware County, Pennsylvania 1826-1880. Pennsylvania: Delaware County Historical Society, 2004.This recent publication by Dr. Robert P. Case lists all of the mills that were in operation during the 1826-1880 time period. Dr. Case and associates did an excellent job of summarizing the information in table form. He included location, products produced, owners, locations and much more. Though I was unable to find any of my ancestors, this would prove to be a valuable resource for those related to former mill owners.
